Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN - Psychiatric for a 13-week behavioral health assignment requiring 2 years of recent BH/Psych experience and an IN or compact RN license.

Details

• Behavioral health facility with Adolescent, Adult, and 55+ Geriatric units
• Must be open to floating to any of the units as needed
• Adult patient population with low acuity
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• 12-hour day shifts from 7am to 7:30pm
• Requires working 36 hours per week including every other weekend
• Uses Wellsky EHR for documentation and Omnicell for medication management

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license
• 2 years of recent behavioral health/psych experience required
• De-escalation experience such as CPI or Handle with Care is a plus

Additional Information

• Work in a beautiful new 120-bed facility currently opening unit by unit
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Candidates residing within a 30-mile radius are eligible for local rates, while those beyond this radius qualify for travel rates
