American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Behavioral Health for a 13-week night shift assignment at a new psychiatric facility, requiring 2 years of recent BH/Psych experience and willingness to float across units.

Details

• Behavioral health unit within a new 120-bed facility, currently opening unit by unit
• Must be open to working Adolescent, Adult, and 55+ Geriatric units with floating as needed
• Adult patient population with low acuity
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7:30am
• 36 hours per week required, including every other weekend
• Uses Wellsky EHR and Omnicell medication system

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Behavioral Health/Psych nursing experience required
• CPI or Handle with Care de-escalation experience preferred
• Wellsky EHR experience preferred

Additional Information

• ASAP start required
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside within a 30-mile radius to qualify for local rates; candidates outside this radius are eligible for travel rates
