Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a NICU position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and at least 1 year of NICU experience.

Details

• NICU setting within a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend rotation required, typically every 3rd weekend to align with NICU staffing model
• Float to inpatient units required when not needed in the NICU
• Shifts scheduled based on unit needs

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Ohio or compact license
• Current CPR and NRP certifications
• Associate degree required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required, 2+ years preferred
• Central line, PICC, and umbilical line competency required
• Skilled in all forms of O2 delivery including N/C, high flow, CPAP, NIV, and ventilator management
• G-tube and trach experience preferred but not mandatory
• Two references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Navy blue scrub top with navy blue or black scrub pants required
• Former permanent employees must wait 6 months before being eligible for this position
