American Traveler is hiring a CVOR RN with endovascular and vascular service line experience for a 1:1 patient ratio operating room role.

Details

• CVOR unit setting caring for adult to geriatric patients
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift, 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified
• Overnight call after shift approximately 2x per week
• Regular day call approximately 1x per month (13-15 days per month)
• Approximately 2 weekend call shifts per assignment
• Rare floating to Main OR may be required
• Uses Epic (preferred) and Pyxis systems

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Endovascular experience within a vascular service line required
• EVAR experience required
• CSI and Penumbra experience preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted

Additional Information

• OR scrubs provided by the facility
• Maximum 7 days of RTO permitted
• No RTO permitted during the first week of assignment
• Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• No holiday RTO can be requested if one or two major holidays occur during the assignment
• One holiday RTO request may be reviewed if three major holidays occur during the assignment
• Travel pairs cannot be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
• Returning travelers must be away from all facilities within the health system for one full year before returning
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Shift and schedule as listed are firm with no alternate requests allowed
