American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least one year of PACU experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based PACU unit caring for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 20:00 to 8:30
• Uses Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Every other weekend rotation required unless otherwise specified
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• On-call/backup coverage required on a rotating weekday and weekend basis over a 6-week schedule, shared among staff

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Additional Information

• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, must be finalized at time of submission
• No RTO permitted during orientation week or after offer/onsite
• Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Previous Piedmont employees (perm, per diem, or FCSS) must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before applying as a traveler
• Returning travelers who were cancelled or given a DNR must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying
