Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring MT or compact licensure and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hours weekly)
• Uses Epic for charting and documentation
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call shifts during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (MT state license or compact license) required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery required
• Certifications must not expire prior to assignment start date

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive treatment to patients
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former Intermountain employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
