Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring MT or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification, plus at least 1 year of ICU experience.

Details

• Intensive Care Unit setting within a hospital
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• May be required to float to other departments based on competency and business need
• May be required to take on-call shifts during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification through AHA required, not expiring before start date
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Conduct health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient recovery
• Monitor and review treatment plans and refer patients for further evaluation as needed
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Uphold facility mission, vision, and service standards
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
