American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care position on a dedicated Stroke Unit requiring 2+ years of experience and NIH Stroke Scale certification.

Details

• Stepdown Intermediate Care unit within a hospital setting
• Dedicated Stroke Unit with 30 beds
• Patient population includes medical, DKA, cardiac, GI, renal, sepsis, trauma, and surgical cases
• 1:4 nurse to patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 06:45-19:15
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide care to a complex, high-acuity stepdown patient population
• Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
