Description

American Traveler is seeking a CVOR RN with at least 2 years of CVOR experience to scrub and/or circulate complex cardiovascular procedures on a 4x10 day-shift schedule.

Details

• Work in a 26-suite, high-tech OR performing both inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Treat patients across the lifespan, including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• OR services include ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neuro, robotics, vascular, and cardiac/thoracic surgery
• Must be competent scrubbing and/or circulating CABG, MVR/AVR/TVR, robotic MVR/AVR, aortic dissections, aneurysm repairs, root replacements, TAVRs, and laser lead extractions
• Heart transplants are not performed at this facility
• Schedule consists of 4, 10-hour day shifts
• Call coverage is a 2-person team with 1–2 call nights per week and 1 call weekend per month
• May be required to float to the MOR during periods of low CVOR census

Requirements

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) required
• BLS certification mandatory
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required prior to starting
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• Skill set for floating to MOR preferred

• Scrub and/or circulate for a wide range of complex cardiovascular procedures
• Work alongside a dedicated 2-person call team
• No local candidates allowed; must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility
