Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a fast-paced Emergency Department requiring 2+ years of ED experience and MD compact RN licensure.

Details

• Emergency Department setting treating all age ranges from infant to geriatric
• Fast-paced ED with diagnoses spanning all systems and complex cases
• Patient ratio of 1:4, up to 1:5 for lower acuity patients
• Rotating Day/Mid shifts (07:00-19:30 or 11:00-23:30), with 3x12 or 4x12 schedules accepted
• Primary scheduling need is for Day shift, with rotation based on departmental needs
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating required within specialty and to sister ED facilities as needed
• No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required
• CPI certification completed during onboarding
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
