Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a day shift assignment requiring AZ or compact RN licensure and TNCC certification.

Details

• Emergency Department consisting of an 11-bed Main ED, 6-bed Fast Track, and 7-bed Observation Unit
• Nurses rotate regularly through Main ED, Fast Track, Observation, Triage, Quick Registration, and Entry Screening areas
• May be assigned to assist with COVID testing and immunization clinics as needed
• 12-hour Day Shift schedule (0700-1900) on a 7-on/7-off rotation, alternating 36 and 48 hour weeks
• Must be flexible to work other shifts, including mid shift, as facility staffing needs change
• Floating to other qualified departments required, which may include patient care or task-oriented duties

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in Emergency Department nursing
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required
• TNCC certification required
• Conscious sedation certification required (obtainable through facility after confirmation)

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across multiple ED zones based on daily patient volume and unit needs
• Maximum of one week RTO during the assignment, if needed
• Returning travelers are being considered for this position
