American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery Operating Room position requiring current AWHONN or GE Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification and prior L&D operating room experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit caring for laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients, including high-risk antepartum and postpartum cases
• Unit includes a 3-bay OBED, 20 labor rooms, 3 ORs, and 3 PACU bays
• Travelers function in OBED, L&D, and OB PACU but will not circulate OR cases
• Night shift schedule from 7:00pm to 7:00am
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact license
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current NRP certification
• Current and active Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification through AWHONN or GE
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience required
• Previous L&D operating room experience required
• Must be able to circulate C-sections
• Must be able to triage for OB
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing required
• BSN or MSN preferred
