American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a combined Med-Surg/Emergency Department role requiring CO or compact RN license and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

• Combined Med-Surg/ED unit with 6 med-surg beds and 3 ER beds
• Covers inpatient, observation, and swingbed patients plus outpatient infusion services
• Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, post-op ortho, pneumonia, UTI/AMS, and failure to thrive
• 12-hour day shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Athena EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and AHA Procedural Sedation Module

• Provide care across both med-surg and emergency department settings, managing a variety of diagnoses and acuity levels
