Description

American Traveler is seeking a Step Down RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 18 months of recent specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Pulmonary/Thoracic Step Down unit setting
• Night shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week assignment length
• Navy blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 18 months of Step Down experience within the past 3 years
• Must complete a proctored rhythm identification test upon starting (non-multiple choice, two attempts allowed)

Additional Information

• No local candidates accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is strictly limited, with a maximum of 5 days allowed if not near a holiday or 3 days if near a holiday, and only 1 holiday request permitted
• Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
