Description

American Traveler is hiring a Step Down RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 18 months of recent specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Step Down unit within a hospital setting (Pulmonary/Thoracic)
• AM shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of Step Down specialty experience within the past 3 years

Additional Information

• Nurse Manager interviews all candidates prior to placement
• Available start dates are every Monday
• Navy blue scrubs required
• New hires must pass a proctored rhythm identification test (non-multiple choice, two attempts allowed) upon starting
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates within this radius are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
