Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Telemetry RN with charge nurse experience and Epic proficiency for a pre/post procedural unit supporting Cath, EP, PV, and IR labs.

Details

• Pre/post procedural unit supporting Cath lab, EP lab, PV lab, and interventional radiology patients
• Cares for arterial and venous access patients, including radial and ulnar access, and Same Day PCI cases
• Some patients require telemetry monitoring while others do not
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekends or holidays required
• Travelers may be floated to any Cone Health campus as needed

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Understanding of monitoring and managing hemostasis for arterial and venous access sites
• Skilled in dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG reading
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• Current driver's license required to verify address

• Provides cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and dysrhythmia interpretation for pre/post procedural patients
