Description

American Traveler is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 5+ years of L&D experience, a KY or compact RN license, and OR circulating/scrubbing skills.

Details

• 295-bed acute care hospital setting within the Labor and Delivery unit
• Unit includes 6 LDRs, 5 outpatient rooms, 2 ORs, and 1 recovery room
• Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines
• Uses GE Centricity wireless fetal monitoring equipment
• Charts in Meditech/Centricity EHR
• Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Works every other weekend
• Floating required to postpartum/mother-baby unit

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• NRP certification
• Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Rural community hospital experience required
• Experience circulating or scrubbing in OR procedures

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, including circulating and scrubbing for OR procedures
• Must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Required scrub color is OR seal blue; hoodies and sweatshirts are not permitted
