Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with 2-3 years of ICU experience and a NH or compact RN license for a 12-hour night shift position.

Details

• Intensive Care Unit setting caring for critically ill patients
• 12-hour night shift schedule (7p-7a), 3 shifts per week
• Uses specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, arctic sun/TTM management, Alaris pumps, and rapid infusers
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Floating required to ED (not just ICU holds), Stepdown, and Med Surg with modified assignment
• Possible floating to Behavioral Health
• May be requested to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin locations

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2-3 years of ICU experience required; candidates closer to 2 years must demonstrate strong self-starter skills, varied care experience, and ability to work independently and quickly
• CVICU experience preferred
• Preferred certifications include TNCC, PALS, and CCRN
• RN Skills Checklist matching specialty required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct critical care nursing to ICU patients using advanced life support equipment
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• Weekly orientation provided
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius for the standard rate; a local rate applies otherwise
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
• Three professional references required once committed, with two from leadership
