Description

American Traveler is hiring a CVOR RN for a high-volume cardiovascular OR requiring 2-3 years of CVOR experience and on-call availability.

Details

• Works in a CVOR with 9 OR suites including 2 hybrid rooms
• Supports adult cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures
• Facility performs heart transplants, Heartmate III, Impella, and ECMO procedures
• Utilizes Da Vinci robot for thoracic surgeries
• Shift schedule is 06:30-17:00
• On-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays with 30 minute response time
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume CVOR center with complex open-heart cases
• Experience with complex cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical cases required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Level 1 Trauma Center, Burn Center, and VAD/Transplant Center environment
• Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
