American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift float pool position requiring 2 years of experience and the ability to read tele strips.

Details

• Float pool position within a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• 12-hour night shift, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Floating required as needed within a 25-mile policy between facilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (ME or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with 1 year of travel experience preferred
• Must be able to read telemetry strips and document findings in the EMR
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients as part of a float pool team
• Teamwork and reliability are valued traits for this role
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable as long as they do not display offensive language
• Flip flops, shorts, and t-shirts are not permitted
• Candidates located within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local, with local bill rates applying
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at the manager's discretion
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
