American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Tele) role requiring 2 years of experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting with telemetry patient population
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week assignment length
• May be asked to float to a different unit or the facility's other campus

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/Tele experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Altera charting system experience preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Deliver direct, individualized nursing care based on the nursing process
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care and outcomes
• Must be well-versed in a broad range of medical conditions
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for a positive result
• Candidates must reside 150 miles or more from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Local candidates are not accepted
• Previous permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year to return as a trav005r
• Candidates must be available to complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting the offer or have a completion plan in place
