American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room with circulator experience in spine, total joints, plastics, ENT, and DaVinci procedures.

• Operating Room setting within a hospital
• Circulator role covering spine, total joints, plastics, ENT, and DaVinci robotic procedures
• Day shift schedule (3x12 Hours), 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Call required: two 5-hour call shifts per week, plus two 12-hour weekend call shifts every 8 weeks
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active CA RN license in hand at time of consideration (Temp or Perm, no EMSA)
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 1.5 years of continuous experience in the OR specialty
• Minimum 1 year of total travel nursing experience required
• Minimum 6 months of continuous travel experience immediately preceding consideration, with no gaps aside from minimal pre-approved vacations
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months
• 1 supervisory-level reference required
• Valid copies of all required certifications must be provided, with no pending or expired certifications accepted
• Interview availability required, including specific days, times, and time zone

Additional Information

• Serve as circulating RN for a variety of surgical specialties including spine, total joints, plastics, ENT, and robotic (DaVinci) cases
• Float requirements may apply depending on facility needs; details to be discussed during interview
• Maximum 7 days of RTO permitted, with no additional RTO requests accepted after consideration
• No first-time travelers considered for this position
• Returning staff and travelers must wait 1 year before reapplying to the same health system
• Extension policy allows up to 1 year, after which a 1-year waiting period applies before returning
• International travelers must have at least 1 year of recent or current U.S. work experience
• Local candidates within 100 miles are not eligible, and candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months are considered local and ineligible
• Only one position within the health system may be pursued at a time
