American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring an active IL RN license and 2+ years of L&D experience.

Details

• Busy Labor and Delivery unit including Antepartum and OB ED areas
• Level III NICU on site
• May be floated to other OB related areas such as Mother Baby on occasion
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA)
• Current NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Full SS# and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to laboring, antepartum, and OB emergency patients
• Support NICU-related deliveries in a Level III NICU setting
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius rule
• Radius rule mileage varies by facility location
• Travelers must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Only one submission allowed per candidate across all Ascension positions system wide
• Recommended to discuss extension with manager 45 days before assignment end date
• COVID vaccination not required as of July 1, 2023
