American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - OR Circulator for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring strong orthopedic experience and MAKO robotics familiarity.

Details

• Acute care Operating Room setting with 11 OR suites and 1 GI suite handling 30-50 cases per day
• Circulating role primarily supporting Orthopedic procedures including total joints (MAKO), arthroscopy, spine, foot and ankle, hand, and ORIF
• Also supports some General, ENT, GYN, and plastics cases
• Utilizes the MAKO robot for total joint procedures
• EPIC EMR used for charting
• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week guaranteed
• No weekends and no on-call requirements
• No floating to other units or departments

Requirements

• Active SD or compact state RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required (must be AHA)
• Minimum 3-4 years of recent circulator experience required
• Strong Orthopedic experience required, including total joints and arthroscopy
• Robotics experience required, MAKO experience highly preferred
• BSN not required for this position

Additional Information

• Responsible for circulating duties across a high-volume surgical caseload spanning multiple specialties
• Scrubs provided by facility in Ceil Blue color
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced pay rate
• Candidates with prior employment history at this health system must disclose this information and meet a minimum 6-month gap from their last end date
