American Traveler is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher (Mod/Severe) for a center-based Structured Learning Services program supporting students with Autism, requiring experience in autism and behavior management.

Details

• Non-clinical school setting at an elementary school
• Center-based Structured Learning Services program for students with Autism
• Serves students in grades K-5, with a focus on K-2
• Caseload of approximately 8-14 students
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Contracted for 40 hours per week
• Paraprofessional classroom support assigned based on student need
• Assignment runs for the 2026-2027 school year

Requirements

• Experience with Autism and behavior management required
• Strength in systems and structures a plus
• License required if applicable
• Colorado CBI and FBI fingerprinting clearance required upon contract signing
