American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 2 years of experience and floating between multiple units.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit floating between two MS/Tele units within a Level IV trauma teaching hospital
• 1:4/5 patient ratios
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (7pm-7am)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to where most needed, including possible float to affiliate hospitals or other units based on skills and census needs
• Uses standard med surg/tele equipment
• Liko lifts available in almost all patient rooms
• Cerner EMR used, experience preferred

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or valid compact license required (pending license accepted for submission)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• ICU/PCU experience preferred, strong MS/Tele experience also considered
• Comfortable floating without restrictions

• Provide nursing care to med/surg and telemetry patients as part of a flex pool team
• Navy blue scrubs required

• RTO requests subject to unit manager approval
• Previous employees of the health system must have been separated for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
• Travel pairs accepted on this unit
