American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a CO or compact RN license and prior L&D experience.

Details

• Women and Infants Labor and Delivery Unit with 19 rooms
• Rotating day and night shifts (4x12 hours), various days of the week
• 1:2 patient ratio
• Uses Epic for charting
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs
• On-call responsibilities required per unit needs
• Float required within the Women and Infant Unit, and may float within the metro region per facility needs
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license, CO or compact required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive Labor & Delivery nursing care including assisting with vaginal and high-risk deliveries, circulating and scrubbing for C-sections, and fetal monitoring
• Support antepartum, postpartum, and neonatal care in the delivery room
• Navy scrub color required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Maximum of 10 RTO days per contract, with blackout periods during select weeks including early September, late October through early November, late November through early December, and year-end holidays
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• Candidates previously employed by the health system within the last two years will not be considered
• Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
• Completion of facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment
