American Traveler is seeking an RN First Assist for the Operating Room, requiring a KS or compact RN license and availability for scheduled call coverage.

Details

• Operating room setting supporting surgical first assist procedures
• 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts
• Approximately 36 hours per week
• Template schedule provided, though consecutive days together are not guaranteed
• Required to take call three weekends per month
• May be required to work holidays depending on staffing needs

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Surgical First Assist (RNFA) experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination (two doses) or an approved declination required

Additional Information

• Serve as a surgical first assist in the operating room
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler candidates
• Permanent employees must be separated from the facility for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
