American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring Trauma Level II experience and the ability to scrub total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic procedures.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital environment
• 13-week assignment with Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 9:00 AM-7:30 PM)
• Must be able to scrub total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic surgery specialties
• Preferred experience in ortho, urology, endo, vascular, thoracic, neuro & neuro spine, bariatrics, plastics, ENT, podiatry, and transplant procedures
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• No floating or blocked scheduling required
• Weekend requirement of 1 weekend per 6 weeks
• Holiday coverage is optional
• On-call is optional

Requirements

• Active RN license (PA or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BSN required
• PA Fingerprints and Childline clearance required (must be completed within 1 week of signing and may require travel over 100 miles)
• Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Scrubs are provided
• First-time travelers are accepted with appropriate experience
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a differentiated rate
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
