American Traveler is seeking an RN Ambulatory Outpatient for an Allergy/Immunology clinic role requiring a WI or compact RN license and prior clinic experience.

Details

• Outpatient ambulatory clinic setting within the Allergy/Immunology department
• Rotating schedule across multiple clinic sites, following a specific provider
• Assigned to specific locations with floating to other clinics as needed within the territory
• Patient population includes adults and pediatrics with allergy, immunology, asthma/pulmonary, food allergy, seasonal allergy, and drug allergy needs
• Average daily census of 16-24 patients
• Each site has approximately 4-5 exam rooms with 3-4 RNs per clinic per day
• EMR: Epic Ambulatory preferred but not required
• Monday through Friday schedule between 0730-1700/1730 with varying hours by site
• No weekend rotation, call, or holiday requirements

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of clinic setting experience required, with allergy clinic experience highly preferred
• Comfortable working with pediatric patients
• Skilled in triage, phone triage, rooming patients, injections, vitals, medication and history review, allergy reviews, and medication refill processing
• IV skills and spirometry experience preferred
• Candidate must provide date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration
• At least one professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include triaging patients, rooming, administering injections, taking vitals, reviewing medications and history, conducting allergy questionnaires, and fielding medication refill requests
• Works alongside 4 providers and 3-4 RNs per clinic day, supported by patient service representatives and on-site or virtual leadership
• Manager/Supervisor available daily via Teams and floats through clinics for support
• 1-week orientation (NEO) provided, with additional time possible based on skillset
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Free parking available at designated employee areas

• Former employees of the health system or its subsidiaries must have been separated for at least 12 months to be eligible
• Up to 5 days of requested time off can be approved during the assignment
