American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care/Cardiovascular Care Unit night shift position requiring a CO or compact RN license and ACLS/NIH certification.

Details

• Cardiovascular Care Unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 1900-0730
• 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO state or compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty being applied for
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale required and must not expire prior to start date
• TNCC certification preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Conduct health teaching, counseling, and ongoing health status evaluations
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed
• Background check and drug screen results required, with reporting to lab for drug screen within 24 hours of assignment commitment
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for a travel assignment
