American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN with 2+ years of acute inpatient PCU experience and Epic proficiency for a night shift assignment.

Details

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, totaling 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient PCU RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Additional Information

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments, developing and implementing individualized plans of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and patient families to support comprehensive care
• Provide patient and family education throughout treatment and at discharge
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while mentoring and precepting team members
• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance efforts
