Description

American Traveler is hiring a GI Lab RN with a GA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent GI/endoscopy experience to support a busy interventional GI and pulmonary program.

Details

• GI Lab setting performing a wide range of GI and pulmonary interventional procedures
• Procedures include colonoscopies, EGD, bronchoscopies, feeding tube placement, ERCP, EBUS, GI bleeds, flex sig, foreign body retrieval, navigation bronch, variceal banding, Bravo manometry, and capsule endoscopy
• Schedule is Monday-Friday 0630-1700 with 4x10hr shifts per week
• Call required during the week and on weekends

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in GI/endoscopy specialty required

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for consideration
• Former permanent staff returning as non-local travelers must have a 2-year break in service
