American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Room RN for a 12-hour evening shift role requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and prior travel assignment experience.

Details

• 270-bed hospital with a 44-bed Emergency Department unit
• Patient population includes all ages within the general population
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5
• 12-hour evening shift schedule, 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
• Weekend and holiday shifts required
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required on file at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of ED experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population across all age groups
• Navy scrubs required
• No time off approved from 9/19 through 10/17 due to Epic Go Live
• Must attend orientation on one of the following dates: 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, or 10/26
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Radius rule of 75 miles applies for standard travel rate eligibility
