American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care position requiring 1+ year of experience, PointClickCare charting knowledge, and flexibility between day and night shifts.

Details

• Work in a 25-bed Long Term Care/Intermediate Care unit in a very rural setting
• Rotating 12-hour shifts (36s/48s) covering both day (6:30 AM-6:30 PM) and night (6:30 PM-6:30 AM) schedules
• Staff work a Saturday through Friday work week
• Weekend shifts required
• Must be flexible to work either day or night shift as needed
• Mandatory floating within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital for closed departments, in accordance with client policies and Joint Commission standards
• Uses Cerner EMR (facility transitioned in October 2022) and PointClickCare charting systems

Requirements

• Active RN license (NM state license or compact license) required in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• PointClickCare charting experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care in a long-term/intermediate care setting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and are not accepted for this position
• Previous travelers are welcome to reapply; permanent staff seeking to travel must obtain facility approval
• RTO requests should be kept to a minimum, with no calendar week off preferred during the assignment
• Expect to work some holidays during the assignment
