American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high acuity Intermediate Care (IMC) Cardiovascular Unit position requiring compact RN licensure and ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in a 20-bed high acuity Adult IMC Cardiovascular Unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment with 2 openings available
• Care for critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring with advanced medical equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments according to physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide emotional support and patient/family education
• Follow strict infection control protocols
