American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for an acute care hospital, requiring CCC-SLP certification and 2 years of experience, with FEES and MBSS credentialing preferred.

Details

• 175-bed acute care hospital setting
• Speech Therapy unit with day shift only staffing
• 4x10-hour shifts on a rotating schedule that includes weekends
• Weekend-heavy rotation schedule
• May float to acute care and inpatient rehab units
• Utilizes FEES and MBSS equipment for swallowing evaluations
• EPIC EMR system used for documentation
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Current SLP license required if applicable
• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• FEES and MBSS credentialing preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional reference required (two references required for Florida and Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• State of Alaska fingerprinting and background check required through NABCS, with provisional or cleared status needed prior to starting the assignment
• Team player personality preferred
• Hunter green scrubs required as part of dress code
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
