American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for a Geriatric Psych unit, requiring 18 months of recent acute care behavioral health experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Behavioral Health unit specializing in Geriatric Psych care
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand
• Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• 18 months of recent behavioral health experience in an acute care, non-psychiatric facility setting required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Co-worker references are not accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include milieu management, medication management, patient assessments, and documentation
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts to pass
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• All RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
