American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a skilled nursing rehab setting, requiring 2+ years of adult rehab experience and an active Hawaii OT license.

Details

• Skilled nursing facility (SNF) rehabilitation setting
• Primary focus on SNF rehab with adult patient population
• Department operates 7 days per week from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 5-day work week with possible 1 weekend day (Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat rotation)
• Hours worked per two-week period may be up to 88 hours
• Services provided 24/7, requiring availability for shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Meditech EMR used

Requirements

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license required; Hawaii license required by start of assignment (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in at least one adult care setting (acute, SNF, rehab hospital, or outpatient)
• Current BLS certification required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic assessments and prepare and implement treatment plans for a full range of habilitation and rehabilitation cases
• May provide occupational therapy services for an entire unit, center, or facility
• Work under general supervision performing related duties as required
• Must arrive at the facility the Friday prior to a Monday start to complete employee health and HR clearance with no exceptions
• All compliance documents must be completed and uploaded no later than one week before the start date
