American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 1+ years of OR experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room unit
• Schedule consists of 3x12-hour Day shifts per week
• 36 hours per week
• May require floating to other departments based on competency and business need
• May require on-call coverage during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses EPIC EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• EPIC EMR charting experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching and counseling to patients
• Deliver therapy and treatment supportive and restorative to patient well-being
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and adhere to service behavior standards
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
