Description

American Traveler is hiring an Oncology RN with chemotherapy certification and at least 2 years of recent oncology experience for a cancer center position.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based cancer center oncology unit
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week, scheduled Monday through Friday 7AM-5PM
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Chemotherapy certification required with ability to administer chemotherapy
• Minimum 2 years of recent oncology experience required

Additional Information

• Administer chemotherapy and provide oncology nursing care to cancer center patients
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
