American Traveler is seeking an RN for Labor & Delivery/OB Inpatient with at least three years of relevant nursing experience and IL RN licensure required.

Details

• OB Services inpatient unit
• Night shift schedule, 1900-0730, 36 hours per week (3x12)
• Must sign up for required weekend shifts
• Minimum of 5 Friday or Saturday nightshifts per 6-week schedule period
• Must self-schedule 2 Sunday nightshifts per 6-week schedule period
• Will be asked to work federal holidays as needed
• Uses EPIC for EMR charting

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NRP certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to OB inpatients including infant care
• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement plans of care, and document all care in EMR
• Administer medications per physician orders
• Take responsibility for patient and employee safety, reporting or correcting hazards as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Complete all unit-specific competencies
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel position
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than one year without a 6-month break in service before returning to any facility within the health system
