American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with 1+ year of home health experience and OASIS proficiency for a day shift position in the Salinas territory.

Details

• Home health setting covering the Salinas territory
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
• 1:1 patient ratio with up to 6 patient visits per day
• 30 productivity points standard with 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Weekend coverage as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Home Health MD EMR system used
• Occasional maximum travel radius of 50+ miles between visits

Requirements

• Current CA OT license required, if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
• OASIS experience required
• BLS certification required
• Reliable personal transportation required
• Business casual attire or scrubs acceptable

Additional Information

• Provide occupational therapy services including activities of daily living, modalities, and manual therapies
• Experience with orthopedic conditions, prosthetics, and orthotics beneficial
• Timely documentation and communication required using provided documentation tools
• Documentation tools must be returned at end of assignment
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
• No parking costs
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
