American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit/Telemetry position requiring a Michigan RN license and night shift availability.

Details

• Work on the 11 East Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Unit occasionally cares for oncology patients receiving non-vesicant chemotherapy after completion of required training
• Patients actively receiving vesicant chemotherapy infusions are not assigned to travel staff unless ONS-certified or OCN certified

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required for all direct patient care staff
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
• Oncology experience beneficial but not required
• References, licensure verification through Nursys, and COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must complete unit-based oncology course and orientation prior to administering non-vesicant chemotherapy
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course completion required to administer vesicant chemotherapy
• Accepts local candidates residing in Michigan under local pay guidelines
