American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics with 2+ years of experience for a children's hospital outpatient setting specializing in developmental conditions such as autism and sensory challenges.

Details

• Pediatric outpatient setting within a children's hospital
• OT Pediatrics unit treating patients with varied developmental conditions including autism, sensory challenges, fine motor delay, and regulation issues
• Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday
• No on-call requirements, though shifts may be called off based on patient volume/census
• Epic charting system used
• May be required to float within the hospital

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• NBCOT certification required
• California OT license required, or license eligible to obtain if licensed in another state (license required if applicable)
• Pediatric outpatient experience required
• Children's hospital experience preferred but not required
• Feeding/eating treatment experience preferred but not required
• Epic charting experience preferred

• Maximum 6 days of RTO permitted and must be confirmed upfront
• Traveler is required to work 2 out of 3 holidays
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted; candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to travel
• Travelers who reach their one-year mark at this facility or its affiliated hospital must wait 90 days before returning as a traveler
