Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Apheresis position requiring an active MA RN license and at least 1 year of apheresis nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the Kraft Apheresis Staff unit on a 13-week assignment
• 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday with one day off during the week
• Shifts run either 6:30am-5:00pm or 7:00am-5:30pm
• On-call responsibilities of 2-3 shifts per month
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required, no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• AHA-issued certifications only
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• At least 1 year of apheresis nursing experience
• Experience with therapeutic plasma exchange, red cell exchange, leukocyte reduction, and stem cell collection required
• 3-6 months of travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

• Perform apheresis procedures including therapeutic plasma exchange, red cell exchange, leukocyte reduction, and stem cell collection
• Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate
• Requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration
