American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a hospital in Lexington, KY, requiring BLS, ACLS, and on-call availability including weekends and holidays.

Details

• Interventional Radiology/Radiology Support unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call required, approximately 5 call shifts per month
• Weekend coverage is on-call only and rotated with staff
• Holiday coverage required
• 40 hours per week, 5 days per week

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted KY or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Previous nursing experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures
• Must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides holistic, evidence-based patient care including comprehensive assessments, treatment implementation, patient education, and discharge coordination
• Collaborates with an inter-professional care team to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities such as patient satisfaction, fall prevention, and documentation auditing
• Delegates and oversees patient care tasks performed by other team members within scope of practice
