American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Night Shift Nursing Coordinator/Administration role requiring ACLS, BLS, and a BSN, with a focus on hospital-wide patient throughput and bed management.

Details

• Hospital inpatient administration/coordination setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
• One winter holiday and one summer holiday required (holiday shift includes the eve and the day of the holiday)
• No floating or on-call requirements
• Centralized bed management and patient flow coordination across all hospital units and departments

Requirements

• Active RN license in DC required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• BSN required (minimum)
• CCRN or CNL certification preferred
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed facility experience required)
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Serves as the primary Night Shift Nursing Coordinator responsible for managing daily patient throughput across the facility
• Responsibilities include facilitating ED admits, direct admits, and surgical admits, increasing inpatient bed utilization, and reducing bed turnaround delays
• Functions as the ground-level operational lead for patient flow on the assigned shift
• Communicates continuously with leadership across departments to ensure alignment with the patient flow plan
• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
