American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU/Stepdown position at a Level II Teaching Hospital, requiring ACLS certification and vasoactive drip experience.

Details

• PCU/Stepdown unit within a 370-bed acute care, Level II teaching hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Experience with vasoactive and specialty drips required, including insulin, nicardipine, dexmedetomidine, and nitroglycerin
• Schedule transitions from 6 consecutive weeks of day shifts (7:00–19:00) to 7 consecutive weeks of night shifts (19:00–7:30)
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within scope to like units required to meet facility needs
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Stepdown or PCU experience required
• Proficiency with vasoactive drips (insulin, nicardipine, dexmedetomidine, nitroglycerin)
