American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring at least 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience and night shift availability.

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at an academic medical center
• Acute/progressive patient population with telemetry monitoring
• Oncology experience preferred
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Some summer holiday coverage required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license in good standing, required at time of consideration — no licensure hits accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Chemo certification preferred but not required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Oncology nursing experience is preferred for this role
• Chemo certification, while not required, is a plus
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration — RTO requests submitted after that point will not be approved
